Summer Camps Ages 2-8


Sand Dollars

Ages 4 to 6

These half-day, week-long camps are a wonderful way for your young child to experience the Aquarium. Hands-on activities, behind-the-scenes visits, live animals, costumes and projects. Have your child’s knowledge of the animals and habitats found at the Aquarium.  These two camps will have different activities and projects. Have your child attend both for a summer full of fun.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-11:30am
July 19-23, August 16-20

Cost: Members: $195;Non-members: $230

 
Sea Urchins

Ages 4 to 6

These half-day, week-long camps are a wonderful way for your young child to experience the Aquarium. Hands-on activities, behind-the-scenes visits, live animals, costumes and projects. Have your child’s knowledge of the animals and habitats found at the Aquarium.  These two camps will have different activities and projects.  Have your child attend both for a summer full of fun.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-11:30am
July 12-16, August 2-6

Cost: Members: $195;Non-members: $230

 
Sea Lions

Ages 6 to 8

This full-day, week-long camp is packed with fun. Your child will learn about the fascinating animals that reside at the Aquarium, including the charismatic California sea lions, the people who care for them, their habitats and our conservation efforts. Campers will be engaged by field trips, games, hands-on activities, tours and projects related to the day’s topic.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:00pm

July 5-9, July 12-16, August 9-13, August 23-27

Cost: Members: $325; Non-members: $370

 
Water Adventures

Ages 6 to 8

Children love playing with water and learning about what lives in and around it. In this three-day camp, campers will explore both a saltwater and freshwater habitat, learn what makes them unique and special and search for the animals that call it home. Fun water themed projects and activities will further enhance the adventure.

Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday 8:30am-4:00pm

June 29-July 1, August 3-5, August 17-19

Cost: Members: $260; Non-members: $295

 
Extended Day Program

Ages 6 to 12

Need help with hectic schedules? Extended day activities include games and snacks from 4:00pm-5:00pm.

Schedule: Monday-Friday for campers
ages 6 to 12.

Cost: Members: $75; Non-members: $85 for the five-day program.

 


Program Registration

Advance registration is required for all programs. To inquire about one of our programs, please complete our online Program Registration Form. After you complete the form, a staff member will contact you to obtain payment and finalize your reservation.

 

Camp Forms

All summer camp participants must complete the required forms two weeks before camp.
